| Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Well kind of. | |
| Posted 21st Jul 2008 @ 11.31 by Generation Steps |

There's news in Lisa Camp, as the Sunday People is reporting that Lisa and her husband Johnny are set to feature in a new ITV2 reality TV series; CelebAir, where ITV2 will be taking to the sky with a real plane, flying to real places, staffed by real celebrities!
In this new eight-part series, 10 celebrities will take on a range of jobs on the ground and in the air to battle it out ultimately to become CelebAir’s star employee and win thousands of pounds for the charity of their choice.
Functioning as a regular airline, members of the public can book to fly with CelebAir to a host of glamorous locations as the celebrity crew take on roles from check-in clerks to air stewards and they could be anyone from a famous sportsman to a pop star.
CelebAir will push the celebrities to their limits; one day they will be dealing with a hell-raising hen party coming back from a night in Malaga, the next they will have to cope with a delayed flight full of families heading out to Alicante.
At every stage of the journey the famous faces will be judged and rated by their own passengers and each week the worst performing celebrity gets given the boot.
However, before any of the famous faces are allowed to start their new jobs, they will have to undertake a rigorous six-week training programme run by Monarch, the airline involved in the show, and they will be required to adhere to Monarch’s tough standards whilst working for CelebAir.

Here's an article from the News of the World's Fabulous Mag. Claire talks cooking and kitchens...
_______________
SHE LOVES DESIGNER GADGETS, BUT EX-STEPS SINGER CLAIRE RICHARDS ADMITS SHE LIVES ON PING CUISINE
With her enormous kitchen and restaurant-sized oven, you’d be forgiven for thinking Claire Richards spends hours rustling up gourmet dinners.
In fact, the ex-Steps star confesses she lives on ping cuisine!
“I’m on a diet for my wedding in November so it’s easier to calorie count with microwaved meals,” she explains.
“But when I’m not slimming I really like cooking."
"Before I got into singing I wanted to be a pastry chef.
"I still love making bread and butter pudding and trifles.
“I love having all the family over for Christmas, when we all sit down around the big dining table.
"I like feeding people and get a lot of satisfaction from making delicious food for people, although Celebrity MasterChef, which I’m a contestant on, is teaching me that being a chef is exhausting.
"So I’m glad I became a pop star!”
Claire, 30, who has a one-year-old son Charlie, bought her three-bedroom ’30s cottage in Middlesex in 2001 with her then partner and spent a year having it renovated.
She now shares it with her fiancé, electrician Reece Hill, 40.
They’re currently adding two more bedrooms and another bathroom.
She says: “When I bought this place I wanted a big kitchen and dining area, so the builder knocked down walls and I helped us get a good deal at Magnet on the beech units.
"I think we spent about £6,000 on the kitchen, which is quite good value.
“I wanted lots of cupboard space and went for the biggest appliances possible – hence the giant cooker and fridge! I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It’s a family area with lots of photos, including some good memories of when I was in Steps.
"I never went near a kitchen in those days – we were always on the road, living on takeaways.”

| H plays the Childcatcher | |
| Posted 25th Jun 2008 @ 09.21 by Generation Steps |

_______________
YOU might know him better as H from Steps, but thanks to the magic of make-up Ian Watkins is Sunderland's latest Childcatcher.
Ian, 32, has taken over from Wayne Sleep in the Sunderland Empire stint of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and is relishing the chance to play a classic baddie alongside Matt Baker as Caractacus Potts.
Ian, who lives in Wales, said: "This is very different to anything I've ever done before. I was a bit nervous but it's something I've always wanted to do.
"I've never joined a show half way through before but there's a lovely family atmosphere and I honestly think it's one of the best things I've been in.
"As a child the two things I was most scared of were Jaws and the Childcatcher, but I don't have to do any method acting because the make up is enough."
Ian spends half an hour in makeup to become the Childcatcher, hiding his hair under a bald cap and doning a pointy nose and an evil sneer.
The former pop star was due to join the Chitty wagon three years ago in the West End, but decided to go back to basics and signed up for a college course at the Royal Academy of Music.
He said: "I wanted to get parts because I was good enough – not by trading on my past."

H begins his second stint in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on July 3rd 2008, until August 30th. For more information go to http://www.chittythemusical.co.uk/
| Spot the Difference? | |
| Posted 24th Jun 2008 @ 16.57 by Generation Steps |

The sibling duo are currently working with the producers behind STEPS' 'Here And Now' (Quiz and Larossi), and production-team Metrophonic, who are responsible for 'Chain Reaction', 'Words Are Not Enough' and 'Buzz' album track - 'Turn Around'.
Same Difference recently posted this message via their official website:
"WOWEE we have been busy these past few weeks! We’ve been writing in the studio with some of the best pop writers (the people behind a lot of the Steps songs and the people who wrote Hero for Enrique Iglesias!)".
Will they storm to the top of the charts as a modern-day STEPS? Or will it be more of a H&Claire affair? For that, we'll have to wait and see.
As for spot the difference... Talent?!?
Thanks to Markus.
